HOW IT WORKS
Toowoomba Toy Library is like a magical treasure chest for families, full of toys and books that teach, inspire, and spark curiosity. When you join, you become part of a special community where play is always exciting, and there’s something new to discover every time you visit.
Here’s how it works, families borrow items just like you would borrow books from a library. Children get to explore, imagine, and learn with toys that are carefully chosen to help them grow, whether it’s building, creating, solving puzzles, or role-playing. Each item is meant to bring joy and learning, and there’s always guidance for parents to make playtime meaningful.
Every four weeks, the toys are returned and swapped for fresh ones. This keeps homes clutter free, saves money, and is kinder to the planet, because sharing toys means fewer go to landfill and more get loved by many children.
But Toowoomba Toy Library isn’t just about toys and books, it’s about community and connection. Families can meet other parents, share ideas, and sometimes join in workshops or play sessions together. Children make friends, parents learn new ways to support play, and everyone enjoys the excitement of something new each week.

Here's What To Do
STEP ONE
Choose from our membership options. Purchase a membership and receive an email within 24 hours with your username and a prompt to create a password.
STEP TWO
Explore our wide selection of high-quality, educational toys and book packs. Items are organised by age, type, or developmental skill to make finding the perfect one easy.
STEP THREE
Choose the items you’d like to borrow and take them home for a set loan period, just like checking out books from a library.
STEP FOUR
Let your children explore, create, and discover with the toys. Each toy is designed to inspire learning, creativity, and fun.
STEP FIVE
After four weeks, return the toys to the library. You can then swap them for fresh ones, keeping playtime exciting and homes clutter-free.

Share and Grow Together.
